The G. Greene team was called upon to assist Tufts University and Boston Architectural College with their Curio House, which will be featured in this year’s Solar Decathlon competition in Washington DC.  The Solar Decathlon is sponsored by the US Department of Energy and each year 20 teams of college and university students across the U.S. compete to design, build and operate the most energy efficient solar-powered house.
G. Greene spent a day working with these students to give them a clear understanding of how to operate and use construction tools, as well as how to maintain a well-organized and safe work site.  Director of Safety, J. Downey, and Project Superintendent Mike MacNeil were both instrumental in showing the students proper techniques.

It seems that we always ask the unthinkable of G. Greene Construction, in terms of meeting our very, very demanding schedule, and they never fail to achieve our goals – both with regard to schedule and quality of workmanship.
