G. Greene Construction completed renovations to more than 55,000 S/F of space at Somerville Hospital. The project, encompassed extensive renovations to the first, second, fifth and sixth floors of the hospital, as well as the addition of a new Medical Arts Building entrance. The first floor was upgraded into a primary care clinic and an eye clinic, with patient and treatment rooms throughout the space. The fifth and sixth floors were renovated to house office space for hospital and administrative staff. One of the prominent features of the project is the entryway to the Medical Arts Building. The new entrance incorporates a glass and aluminum design that gives the exterior of the building a modern feel. The new façade also makes the hospital more recognizable to its patients who are entering from the Highland Avenue side.
