This facility consists of a 66,000 square foot, three-story tiered
building of structural steel and brick. The elementary school houses 27
classrooms for grades K through 5, gymnasium, cafeteria, library and music hall.
G. Greene self-performed all utility work and site improvements which included
underground detention basins, drain manholes, catch basins, utilities and
paving.
This upper-floor library takes advantage of the building height with a
strong atrium, and also includes references to the old building reading room,
which replicates the facade of the old school.
