Harvard University awarded G. Greene's Sitework Division the contract to make improvements to the East Drive Parking Lot, located on the main campus off of Western Avenue in Cambridge. Roadway, sidewalk, parking lot and utility upgrades were planned for this site, to be completed over a three-month time span.
The project was divided into three phases to ensure access to the existing parking garage and service road at all times during construction. The scope of work included: reclamation of the existing pavement, drainage upgrades, site lighting, new granite curbing, concrete and asphalt walks, a paved roadway and parking lot, landscaping, parking lot striping, and signage.
