Field Operations Assistant 

 

G. Greene Construction is seeking an individual that is dependable, computer literate, with excellent organizational skills.  Must possess a driver's license (Class B a plus) and have fork lift experience, preferably a hydraulics license.  This job entails heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.  Responsibilities include coordinating tool and stock orders and distributing them to construction jobsites.  In addition, organizing and cleaning of garage, tool staging areas and equipment yard.  Knowledge of the Boston area is a plus.

Assistant Project Manager

We are looking for Candidates who possess excellent communication and computer skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Candidates must possess a BS in Engineering or Construction Management and have at least 1 year experience.  Knowledge of Procore Software a plus.   As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be involved in all facets of daily construction related issues.  Responsibilities include attending client meetings, preliminary review, packaging and processing of submittals and shop drawings. Track and update subcontractor change order requests, prepare change order requests to review with the project manager, and delivery and drawing log preparation and update of the site drawings, RFI’s and COR’s.  Procore Software Experience a plus.

Field Engineer

We are looking for candidates who can work on their own or in a team setting.  Individuals must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.  Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in their field or in a related area and hold a BS in Civil Engineering.  Knowledge of Procore Software a plus.  Responsibilities include: reading plans, inspections of existing conditions and relaying that documentation to the office staff, job layout utilizing a Total Station, work with a site foreman to schedule and build projects to completion. Also included material ordering and delivery scheduling. communicating with and scheduling subcontractors.

Project Manager/Estimator

We are looking for a multi-talented individual with excellent management, communication, and computer skills.  Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ construction experience working in occupied, sensitive environments.  A BS in Engineering or Construction Management is required. Knowledge of Procore Software a plus.  As Project Manager/Estimator you will be responsible for the overall administrative and technical direction of the construction project. Responsibilities include conducting the weekly coordination and owners meeting, scheduling, maintaining the contract documents, project coordination, shop drawings, product submittals, change management and pricing.  Also, performing quantity take-offs, soliciting subcontractor pricing, scope reviews, and attending pre-bid walkthroughs.
