James McGrath, MEP Coordinator for G. Greene Construction has worked in the construction industry for over 35 years. In his youth James grew up in New England and like most youngsters always took things apart and put them back together, ensuring they still worked. Upon graduation from High School, James followed his sense of patriotism and in the footsteps of his family members by joining the United States Air Force.
He was stationed in England where he was a Jet Engine Mechanic. James found this experience very rewarding and this is where he adopted his attention to detail and driving need to ensure everything was in working order. He did his part that all he was engaged with was operating as expected as many depended on his level of detail and accurate confirmation of proper operating expectations.
After eight years, James left the Airforce as a Service-Disabled Veteran and pursued a career in the plumbing and HVAC trade. James made his way through the ranks as a master plumber, licensed sprinkler fitter, MEP estimator and mechanical project manager. James uses his vast field experience and the tools of modern technology in a manner that continue to reinforce his attention to detail and allow him to anticipate items and address them early. With congested coordination challenges James’s calm but inquisitive demeanor allows him to solve problems with logic and confidence of his peers, resulting in productive functional results.
Through James’s regimented Air Force Service, he has found his knack in taking the lead on MEP related project manager efforts for many federal government, defense contractor, Life Science and Healthcare projects. G. Greene Construction is honored to have a leader like James on our team and we thank him, and all those who have served our country in all the branches of the United States Military today, and every day.
