New Light Station – Peabody, MA

G. Greene Construction’s Site Division completed all civil phases of construction for the new PMLP Switching Station, Peabody, MA. The first phase of the project included clearing and grubbing over 7,500 S/F of existing land and building a new access road to the site. Next, the entire station area was open cut for material processing and screening for re-use as station backfill. 29 concrete piers were laid out, formed and placed to receive the new Pre-Fabricated Switch Building and Dead End Structures. Station work also included precast manholes and over 1100′ of concrete encased duct banks. Once the switching station was installed, G.
