Bob grew up in the family business. Under his Dad’s tutelage, he learned every facet of the construction business from equipment operator, laborer, project superintendent and project manager. In 1996 he was ready to take over the reigns as President. Under Bob’s leadership G. Greene has grown into one of the premier construction companies in the Northeast. Bob takes pride in the fact he has maintained the relationships his father established in 1966. These clients include Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School and Mass. General Hospital. As the company continues to flourish and grow Bob remains rooted in the original family foundations that were established by Gabe Greene in 1966; relationships are built on integrity and trust.
Tom has worked at G. Greene for more than 34 years starting as Accounting Manager, Controller and now CFO. Tom continues to be an integral part of the management team, establishing a strong financial structure for the company which now employs more than 130. In addition to his role at G. Greene, he is a former President of Massachusetts Chapter for the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and continues to be an active member. Tom holds a BS in Business Admin/Accounting from Bryant College and an Executive MBA from Suffolk University.
Kevin was mentored at a young age by Founder, Gabe Greene, working his way up from laborer, project superintendent, and project manager. As Sr. Vice President, 38 years later the knowledge and experience he has gained has made him an expert in his field. He oversees and mentors our project teams and offers his expertise working in occupied buildings on complex, logistically challenging projects. He has become a permanent fixture in the Longwood Medical Area working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Emmanuel College and Harvard Medical School.
Biagio brings more than 30 years of preconstruction and construction experience to our team. He spent 14 years at Tufts University as a Project Manager and Director of Construction. His knowledge on both the owner’s and construction manager’s side of the table gives him a unique perspective when approaching a project. As Vice President, he oversees the Estimating and Project Management Teams from pre-construction through construction to ensure our clients’ goals and expectations are met. Biagio focuses on the Academic, Defense and Healthcare Markets and has established relationships with Emerson College, MIT, Harvard University, Wellesley College, Boston College, Raytheon, Dana Farber, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Lowell General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. He brings a strong commitment to customer service, sense of urgency and response to get deliverables accomplished.
Rick has been with G. Greene for 6 years and has more than 30 years of construction experience. As Project Executive he oversees major projects, provides his input and guidance to our project teams on their day to day operations and ensures that our clients’ goals and expectations are met. Rick focuses on the Biotech, Healthcare and Defense Sectors; and has cultivated relationships with Mass. General Hospital, The Broad Institute, Alkermes, Foundation Medicine, Ironwood Pharmaceutical, Whitehead Institute, Millenium Pharmaceuticals and Raytheon Company. Rick holds a BS in Construction Technology from Fitchburg State College.
With more than 25 years of experience, Peter oversees the Site/Civil Division. He provides oversight and guidance to estimators, project managers, engineers and field staff. Peter is the point person on all projects and attends all project meetings. He has solidified relationships with Eversource, Raytheon Company, National Grid and Stonehill College. Peter is a leader in his field and well respected by his team and peers alike. He holds a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
J. has been with the G. Greene team for over 20 years. He has extensive knowledge of the construction industry as he served as a Project Superintendent for many years. As Director of Safety, he oversees all field operations and is an authorized OSHA instructor. J. implements and enforces all corporate safety policies and procedures. He also provides programs on construction safety that complies with OSHA regulations.
For more than 36 years Tim has been part of the G. Greene family. As Field Operations Manager, Tim oversees our Hyde Park Facility and is responsible for managing the crew’s day to day activities. Tim and our mechanics maintain and care for our fleet of state-of-the-art trucks and equipment. In addition, Tim spearheads our Snow Management Division which has become an integral part of our business. Tim’s Father, Bob Connaughton worked as a Project Manager at G. Greene for many years under Gabe Greene.
