G. Greene recently completed the CCU & ICU renovation and addition at Lowell General Hospital. This project added eleven new intensive care unit rooms, supportive clinical & reporting spaces and expanded the central nurses station area.  The ICU rooms had multiple specialties including bariatric, isolation, ADA, and other critical care disciplines.

To support this clinical space, the existing floor plan was expanded to create a new a new outside-track style corridor, multiple family rest/meeting areas and a shared lounge. This area was created by an addition of a stunning new glass curtain wall that wraps around the exterior of the building.  A new healing garden will be created in the spring of 2017.

During the pre-construction phase, the Greene Team worked in collaboration with LGH and Levi + Wong Design Associates to ensure the hospitals project objectives were met while constructing in a highly sensitive, occupied critical care environment.
